开始上学两周后发现USC的IT技术部分提供的资源真的好多啊，远远多于国内大学提供的，基本上重量级的软件都可以让学生免费使用，回想起本科时候只有在学院或者学校的电脑机房里才能使用那些软件，两者之间便利性差了十万八千里。而且学校处处都考虑了OS X和Windows甚至Linux的支持，根本不用担心某个操作系统的软件找不到这种情况。美国虽然是一个随意的国家，但是人性化方面真是领先中国至少20年。
废话不多说，先提供一个官方邮件：
Dear USC Student: Information Technology Services (ITS) offers great tools and services to help you with your daily computing needs. Free Microsoft Office: As a USC student, you may download multiple free copies of Microsoft Office for your computer and mobile devices. Visititservices.usc.edu/officestudents for instructions. Free Sophos Antivirus: You may download free Sophos antivirus at software.usc.edu (a USC login is required). I urge you to install current antivirus software on your devices to protect both your personal information and the USC network. Google Apps: Your Google Apps at USC account now includes Hangouts, YouTube, and more. With these apps, you can create real-time study-group chat sessions and access your YouTube account from Blackboard. Visit google.usc.edu for information. 上面这些是最基础的，已经可以看到有很重要的Office订阅了，所以你可以去微软office官网上面下载最新版本的Office，只要你是个USC学生，你就可以用学生帐号登录进去。除此之外，像Matlab、stata、SPSS、SAS等等商科学生常用的统计软件，各个学院的ITS部分都有提供，真的是非常方便，不需要为使用正版软件而发愁了。
另外，登录进去Blackboard之后，左下角有登录Lynda.com的链接，用USC账号同样可以直接登录，这个网站有多牛逼我就不说了，学习IT知识首要的几个选择之一，课程质量高，数量丰富。
